The two local public school systems – Redlands Unified
and San Bernardino City Unified – offer ongoing instructional
excellence and steadfast attention to the educational development
of the region’s children and young adults. There are

K-12.
PUBLIC SCHOOLS:
The Redlands Unified School District serves the communities
of Redlands, Loma Linda, Mentone, Forest Falls, and areas
of the cities of San Bernardino and Highland. More than 21,100
students are currently enrolled in the district’s 20
schools serving grades K-12. Plans are underway for an additional
high school to be located in Redlands as well as a new elementary
and middle school – both to be built in the Loma Linda

The San Bernardino City Unified School District serves the
city of San Bernardino, areas of the city of Highland, and
the unincorporated communities of Muscoy and Devore. With
a current enrollment of more than 57,000 students, the San
Bernardino City Unified School District is the 7th largest
